i just did week 3 run 1 on the treadmill last night and i have to admit i found it rather tough, had to pause the programme and the treadmill to catch my breath at one point (I have asthma and Cystic Fibrosis) then on the last 3 minute run i had to slow right down to walking pace on the last minute ...

I went to a running store and had a gait analysis done then was fitted with the correct running shoes and i have found a big difference with that. the store i went to was called run4it

Dont give in just take your training programme back a step and do that one. It's too easy to just give up when you are not feeling well.

Silly question perhaps but can you still use the Get Running app on the treadmill? Having Cystic Fibrosis i really wouldn't want to be out running in the rain and hope that the treadmill option will be ok.

Well i ran my Week 1 day 3 with my new running shoes on and what a difference. No pain in my leg where i had a break 2 years ago and it was causing lots of pain before and tightness in my calf on the same leg. I only had slight tightness today which was great. Gait analysis
I went to a running specialist store today and had a gait analysis done and it was very beneficial indeed. I discovered i certainly do overpronate when running ( I have flat feet ) i got shoes that were recommended for my problem so lets hope that i dont get sore calf muscles as much.
