Ran my first 5k today!
All the work has paid off! Ran my first 5K and it felt great! I admit I started off too fast, got caught up in the moment- and got winded early on. So I could have done better but I'm thrilled to have this one under my belt! Can't wait for the next one!

Continuing week 9
I finished the program weeks ago but I still run week 9 repeatedly. For all of you just beginning- prepare for a life changing event. I started this app in April or May and I've been consistently running ever since! I'm 49 years old and I've never ever been a runner before. This app keeps you going....

Still running week 9 over and over.
I finished the program weeks ago and I have a bridge to 10k app. I'll admit I don't like it nearly as much as this. So I keep coming back. I can easily run 30 minutes now. My first 5k is this Saturday and I'm really excited to run it. Then I'm signed up for 2 more in Sept. after that I think I'll tr...

Re: humbled!
I start my run week on weird weekdays too! I'd rather run Friday, Sunday and Tuesday so I don't need to worry about it while working through the week. I've struggled with shin splints and plantar facitis as well. I tend to run through the splints and I am very careful with my feet! I stretch all the...

Week 9 again and again and again...
So I keep repeating week 9. I have done it for about 3 weeks now. I get through the runs faster, but I just am not sure what to do... Run faster, longer??? I really like someone telling me how far I've gone!

Finished week 9!
This is my first post to the Graduate forum. I finished!! What do I do now? I've been thinking I'd continue listening to week nine for a while. Should I continue to add minutes to my runs or should I keep running the same length of time and try to get faster?

Pretty much failed W9R3!
Got up late and decided to run anyway-last run right? I was excited so I took a new route. By half way I was ok, by last 10 min I knew I was in trouble. Too hot, too much sweat, breathing hard through my mouth. Finally I made it to the end and had to get home, but I was too close to home so I didn't...

Week 9 Run 2
:o oh my gosh! This was a tough run today! I know it's only 2 minutes more but it feels like more! I was just about ready to give up when I decided to look at my phone and see how much longer I had. It said 46 seconds and I almost jumped for joy! I'm pretty sure I'll be repeating week 9 a few times....
