Completed C25K and AS exam results on the same day!
I'm so overjoyed right now. I achieved AAAB in my AS Level exam results this morning, then came home and finished the C25K programme, probably having the best run I've ever had. I can hardly believe that 9 weeks ago I was struggling to run even a minute and now I can run for 30 minutes without stopp...

Re: R1W2 fail
I failed week 2 run 1 too. I tried it on Thursday and as soon as I began the first run my ankle was KILLING me. Like I literally couldn't go on or I would have collapsed because putting pressure on it hurt so much. It still hurts me now and I hoped to do my second attempt on Sunday but now I feel aw...

Re: Week 1 run 1 !!!!!!
I felt awful after doing my first run! I started last Tuesday and completed week 1 on Saturday and it did get considerably easier, but still not easy enough for me to feel confident to start week 2 yet! I too am going to repeat week 1. Well done for getting started!

Re: Motivational List
I've always wanted to be able to run which is something I've struggled with due to lack of fitness and asthma. My mum and I did the Cancer Research Race for Life last year together in honour of my grandmother and I had to walk it. This year my mum was diagnosed with cancer. I want to run the Race fo...

Any other bad asthmatics out there?
I've suffered badly from asthma since I was two and it's really held me back tremendously in the exercise department and I used to struggle awfully with PE at school. Fifteen years down the line and they've found nothing that will really improve my asthma, just control it, and I'm on three inhalers ...

Re: First Day
I did my first run yesterday and I have bad asthma and felt as if I was going to die after run 2! (But I'm only 17) I did consider giving up too but I found it helped to just pause for a minute or two to catch my breath again, and not to run so fast. I run in the field my house is in so I could easi...

Re: Wk 1 Run 1 Tried and failed miserably!
Did my first ever run yesterday and also felt like I was going to pass out, but only after my second small run! I felt like I would throw up too, not good. I paused and waited until I felt better then continued but did manage to complete the whole thing! Like someone else said, I also wear leggings ...

Re: W1R1 failed - but not giving up!
I too suffer from asthma (but I'm 17 and not overweight, just unfit) and I did W1R1 today and felt like I was going to give up after every one minute run, but instead I tried to persevere and did complete the run. I ended up taking about 4 breaks (pausing the app) because I felt I was going to throw...
