Re: Just finishing week 2

Tackled my longest run so far this weekend - a 7k early morning run in the hills near Lyon on Sunday. It was a flat run actually - as we were staying up there already - but beautiful countryside to run in in the early morning. Wow it is hot all of a sudden - jumped straight into summer. Will have to...

Re: Just finishing week 2

Ran for an hour this morning....stunning after the over night rains in Lyon. The ks are beginning to pile up on my RunKeeper app - my app of choice, now that I have finished with Get Running. There is nothing to beat running outdoors, Tim - especially on a beautiful spring morning! Now I have to jus...

Re: I'm a runner again.

I have had runs in Poland, the Netherlands and Germany in the past week - on an extended business trip. A great way to unwind at the end of the day (lots of driving) and see a bit of the country side. I miss my GetRunning coach though! It is fun to use RunKeeper though - and record all the different...

Re: Just finishing week 2

Thanks Tim - and hope things recover soon. I have had a run in the Netherlands this week - and 2 in Germany. I am on an extended business trip, so its a great way to unwind at the end of the day - and see the country side. Its really great when you are at the stage where you can run comfortably for ...

I'm a runner again.

Well I made it through the programme and, thanks to GetRunning I have achieved something I have not done for nearly 20 years - run for 30 minutes. You can be proud of what you have achieved, Benjohn - getting so many people to make their health a priority. I hope the app has been a well deseved comm...

Re: Just finishing week 2

Finished my "last" run today, in Schwerin, Germany. Now I have to keep the momentum going. Plan to do 4 x 30 minute runs a week and see Howzit goes from there. Off to the Netherlands tomorrow - so, will have a go at running there too! Hope your running is going well Tim and Michelle. Keep ...

Re: Just finishing week 2

Hi Michelle, really sorry to hear about your daughter's arm - and also your running set back. I have just had a 30 minute run along the Baltic Sea - just what I needed after 18 hours sitting in the car. One more run to go and I "graduate"! Good luck with getting back into it again. I look ...

Re: On the home straight...

Today was one of those "flying" days! Finished my first 30 min run at 7:00 this morning - sun coming up over the Alps and a beautiful spring day here in Lyon, France.
