Re: Just finishing week 2

Good luck on Saturday Tim. Sounds like your training is going really well. I have some catching up to do - heading home from London and have not run for over a week.
Cheers

Re: Just finishing week 2

Enjoy your graduation run tomorrow Tim! There is a first hint of spring here in France so I am going to hit the road for a short run tomorrow - before I head off on Sunday.
Cheers

Re: Just finishing week 2

The wheels have come off over here - had a shocker of a cold and cough plus a sore knee. Going back to week 6. Just a little temporary set back. Also off to London for the weekend and wont have a chance to run there.

Re: Just finishing week 2

We look forward to hearing how you go with the 5k Tim - good luck with it! My achiles tendon is pretty sore today after all the exercise yesterday - so not too sure if I will be able to do the 28 min run tomorrow. All those old running injuries coming back to the surface again - will have to just ke...

Re: Just finishing week 2

Well done Michelle, that's very good! We are at our house in the Beaujolais for the mid term break. Went for a run this morning - chilly, snow on the hills. This was week 8, run 1. Ended up going for 30 minutes. Then we met up with friends and assorted dogs and had a 5 k walk in the forest. So, near...

Re: 57 couch potato graduated

Bit less of the "old woman", please Shirley! At 57 you are just a spring chicken. Well done on having come so far with your running - and for sticking with it! I am in week 7 of the programe (I shouldn't really be on this forum, but I was interested to see what the Graduates had to say!) a...

Re: Starting running in preparation for my wedding- any advi

Looks amazing Michelle, would love to do something like that one day. And especially to visit India. I back packed across southern China in the 80's. 6'3", blonde and with a beard - something of a novelty in that part of the world back then! Went for a 25 min run at lunch time today - lovely an...

Re: Starting running in preparation for my wedding- any advi

Wow Michelle, riding a Royal Enfield for a charity even in India - I am seriously jealous! http://www.rideindia.info/ perhaps? So far, I am injury free - apart from the occasional twinges from the knees. I keep reminding myself that this is a good thing, and it means I am exercising again - after a ...

Re: Just finishing week 2

Hi Michelle, good to have you back on line again - congrats on the new shoes! We are getting much warmer here in France - although I had to run in the rain this evening. 25 minutes. Wohoo! Have not run that long for a loooooong time. Maisie the lab is bearing up as well - in fact her waist line is r...
