Did a 5k on week 5 day 3

And I did decent. I did walk a lot of the hills on the course, but I think I did pretty well despite not being trained up. I finished the race with a pace of 14:48. I've had a few pains and was expecting some, but none came. I was on the road and my 2days off turned into three. My next day on I felt confident enough to add some additional time. I don't want tO do too much too fast, but it's hard stopping when my body- clearly- wants more. I've found that if I get through the first mile, I'm good to go. I think it is good that this part of the program anticipate s longer runs. I have one more day that has a built in rest. The rest is all running.
