Thanks Benjohn -- for the response and the miracle of the app that has actually succeeded in making me want to run. Believe me, it is nothing short of a miracle! The swelling went down after I iced and elevated. There was never any pain and the itching turned out to be due to the tightened/stretched...

Swollen ankles

Hi All--I'm on week 5, ready for run 2. All has been good up to now (finished all runs albeit at a slooooow pace) until yesterday when my ankles started to itch and when I looked at them and realized they were swollen - both feet on both sides of the ankle.
