Re: Food/fuel question
I am also an early morning runner and had been going out on an empty stomach up until week 5 run 3 (20mins) where when I first attempted it I ran out of steam. So today I got up earlier had a banana and repeated the run this time doing it without too much difficulty. I suspect as the runs get longer...

Re: Week 5 thoughts.
Hi all, I agree week 5 feels like a clear pinch point to me I had to repeat run 3 in week 5 today this is the first time I have repeated any so far, but I managed it this morning I made sure I ate a banana about 45 mins before setting off and this really seemed to help

Re: First run done!
Hi Darren,
Well done on getting started this seems to me to be the biggest step as once you get started it's strangely addictive.
Good luck

Re: treadmill
Hi Ickle
I can't see any reason why not, plenty of other posters have mentioned using a treadmill before.
Running on a treadmill is slightly easier than running outdoors but will still be great exercise!

Advice please - push on or take a break
Hi all,
So here's the story, this morning I ran week 3 run 2 but I seem to of caught a nasty head cold over the last few days and this mornings run was really quite difficult.
Given that I have this cold should I just push on or take a break to try to recover? All suggestions welcome.
Thanks
J

Week 1 run 1 - what to eat
Hi all, I completed my first run today and I'm really pleased with the App. I'm 25 and carry about 1/2 stone more than I would like, I've tried getting into running before but always struggle. One of the things I find difficult is to not just undo all my hard work by over eating, whenever I do go ru...
