Re: Knee pain
Hi there, well done on getting started! I started a similar thread 'knee pain help!' and got some advice from benjohn. The gist of what helped me was going to a specialist running store and getting a gait analysis to choose the correct shoe. After two weeks with my new running shoes my pain had gone...

Re: Knee pain help!
Just to update: I took ur advice and found a running shop in yellow pages. After a gait analysis (lol I'm sounding professional ) I got a pair of Mizuno wave nirvana for over pronation.
I'm now in week 7 and after 2 weeks in my new running shoes I have no more pain!
YAY!
Thanks for the help x

Re: Sticky: Introductions!

After turning 30 I decided to take up running as I had never been good at anything other that 100 meter sprinting at school (LONG time ago XD ) Also I run a bar which means my days off are erratic and when I have time off most gyms are closed....

Knee pain help!
 I am currently on run 2 of week 4... Yay! Ever since week 2 I have had pretty sore pain around my left knee ( top of my leg bone, bottom left of knee... And very top of shin bone, underneath knee.) The pain stays during the rest day but is almost gone by run day. Sometimes it does make me li...
