Re: Week 8 Run 1 Done and loving it.
Runkeeper is great to run alongside as it gives you a useful record both of your run distance but also your times and pace. It also gives you a backslap as you break new personal records for distance and pace which is a nice boost. I ran Week 8 Run 2 today and carried on running past the 28min mark ...

Re: Wanna be Runkeeper Street mates?
Thanks, I hadn't heard of that before. I've bought it. Only trouble now is finding enough time for all this running!

Re: Wanna be Runkeeper Street mates?
Building up slowly is good. I'm running farther but I wouldn't claim to be fast! Still this time last year I was recovering from a major leg-op and walking was hard enough so I'm delighted to be able to run. Got another 28min run later today. Need to find another challenge for when I finish Week 9. ...

Week 8 Run 1 Done and loving it.
Can't believe how quickly this has gone by. Really enjoying this running lark. Yesterday I set out on my first 28min run and half way around I was feeling so good I took a longer route and managed to keep running past 28mins and lasted until 33mins. With the 5min warm up and cool down I ran 6.5kms. ...

Re: First run done!
Took me a whole week to recover from Run1, very painful quads. As soon as I was better I started Run 2 and am now coming to end of Week 2.
Addicted and love it even though every run is hard as hell!

First run done!
Hello, New member and new app user. I've been regularly attending a gym for a few years now. Had a major op on my leg 18mths ago (it was broken and a frame fitted and my leg stretched one inch to correct an earlier fracture) so needed to concentrate on getting basic fitness back first. Think I've do...

Re: Sticky: Introductions!
Morning all. New user, bought the app on recommendation and did my first run yesterday. I've been a regular gym user for a few years now but haven't done any running for a long time. Had a major op on my leg two years back and wasn't allowed to do any impact stuff until recently. So I'm fairly fit i...
