Re: Finished week 5 Woo Hoo!

Hi Turtlespeed, I'm the original poster of this thread. I am proud to report that I kept up the running after finishing the app and am now running a 5K in 34 minutes! This is a HUGE achievement for me, and I never could have done it without the gradual build-up method of Couch to 5K. Once you get up...

How do I speed up???

Hi there! I'm a very happy graduate of the app, and I have a dilemma. I went through the whole program, and have continued to run 3 times a week. However, I'm stuck on a 4k route that takes me anywhere from 29 to 32 minutes. I would like to keep my workout to approx. 30 minutes, but I want to go fas...

Finished week 5 Woo Hoo!

Just dropping a line here to say that I've just finished week 5 (the first 20 minute straight run!). I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to sustain a run for the whole time, but I paced myself and managed it quite easily. Building up with this iPhone app has really made this fun and easy so...

Re: Question about how the app handles music

Just want to update that yes, I switched to this app, and I like it for the extra encouragement and info from the voice. It works great, and I really like the real voice with the nice English accent. Makes it easy to stay motivated! :D

Re: Question about how the app handles music

Thanks for the prompt reply! I'm going to buy your app and try it. I'll let you know... The app I'm using now is C25K. I really like it, but your app seems to have a little more coaching and encouragement built in which is what intrigues me. The first 3 workouts have gone MUCH better than I expected...

Question about how the app handles music

I am 1 week into Couch to 5K using a different app, but this one looks like it might be better than what I have been using. I am wondering how the app handles the music interruptions... I often exercise to podcasts, and I wouldn't want to miss anything. Does it pause your track while it speaks to yo...
