I just recently was fitted for a custom insole which I am sure is going help. I also happen to have a vert high instep. Due to past shin pain now I have a pain on the inside of my leg/calf probably as a result of the nursing the shin. Thx for sharing your experience. I will do the icing and pain meds.

I have tried gradual running since I am not good at it. Also I have not been fitted for a shoe and I have heard this as a suggestion before.

Everytime I have attempted to run over the years I end up quitting because my shins are in such pain. It does not matter if my shoes are new or old they hurt. Everyone says it will go away and it actually doesn't. Suggestions?
