Re: Have you ever craved a run when you've never really done

Jules, just take the app one day or run at a time. Don't be afraid to go back a week and re-do days, as the saying goes 'its not a race' and before long you will be thinking how the hell did i run for 5, 10, 20 and then 30 mins withour stopping. It is a fantastic feeling when you pass each milestone...

Re: Happy and Sad!

My plans are to use the run keeper app just to monitor my pace and distance. Hopefully the guys who made this site will do a couch to 10k ap. I have also joined the parkrun website and plan to do some of their 5k runs. However my main focus is to keep my training and running up as I have registered ...

Something To Share!!

Guys let me share something with all of you!! Last year on the 18.10.2010 i made a decision to challenge myself. This challenge was to lose 60lbs in weight and to become more active and healthy. When i jumped on the scales i was horrified to see the digital dial scream 360.2lbs, oh sh--t i thought!...

Re: Gutted!

Re: Gutted!

Mike thanks for the reply it's great when people come back with positive encouragement. I think I just needed a kick up the backside so I had a chat with a mate who is an avid runner. He put a few pointers to me which gave me a lot more belief in myself and my running/jogging. I did the 25 min run a...
