Re: Week 8 Run 1 Done and loving it.

Hi Darren, I'm at the same stage as you: I have wk 8, run 2 coming up in the morning! I love this app and am still constantly amazed that I can actually run for this long. I'm not sure how far I run but I'm going to try and use Runkeeper alongside the app tomorrow. Good luck for the remainder of the...

Re: Week 6 day 3 - 25 minutes of straight running

You'll do it! I had doubts myself when I got to that point but I cracked it first time and now I'm facing 28 mins for the first time tomorrow morning!

Good luck and let us know how you get on!

At 52, I have never run in my life before so you are a mere youngster!

Good luck with your running! Keep us posted :)

Re: I did it! Wk 6 r3

Yay! It's brilliant isn't it? I did wk7 run 1 this morning, so my 2nd 25 minute run! When I got home after doing it for the first time I said to my husband 'Omg, I really did it!!!' and he said 'Of course, I knew you would!' (Well, he knew more than me!) Keep going and we'll soon be celebrating 30 m...

Re: Proper Warm Up

You are still instructed to do the 5 min warm up walk and 5 min cool down walk on all runs including 25/30 min ones. When it says 'with no walking' it means during the run.

Ooh no, Jimmy! How disappointing for you, but make sure you take the doc's advice and I'm sure it won't be long before you're back on it :)

Re: Running away from home!

I was recently on holiday in Greece and was a bit apprehensive about running in a strange place but I did 3 runs, all at about 6.30am and enjoyed them all. However I do appeciate that running in a holiday resort is completely different from running in a city, which is what you may be contemplating. ...

Re: Holiday

Just an update of my original post from a few weeks ago; I took the advice of the replies and packed my running gear for my holiday to Greece. Just got back last night. As I wasn't sure if the heat would affect my runnng, I ran early in the morning and for my first run, repeated the last run in week...
