Re: Look who got a big shout out!!

Hi Tina! I use run keeper at the same time as get running. It too can use the music from my iPod without any problem and there's another person talking in your ear too. They haven't as yet spoken at the same time. Run keeper is great and shows you a map of where you've run and gives you times etc. I...

Re: Gutted!

Get well soon - I know it's hard but don't let it make you give up. Every runner has an injury at some point so see it as part of the training, learning to listen to our bodies! It's just two weeks so you'll be better soon and ready for London 2012!! Take it easy!

I cannot emphasise enough how difficult week 1 was for me but I have followed the plan religiously and here I am, a runner. I just wanted to give a bit of encouragement to those who find week 5...

Re: Just finished week 2!

Hello! - I have just finished run 2 of week 3. I am just a bit overweight but also unfit (and 47!) and I have found the weeks quite difficult but I have finished each run without stopping. My advice is not to panic, keep a positive mental attitude and slow down for the longer runs. I sometimes play ...

Re: Sticky: Introductions!

Hello - I've just started Get Running and am on Week 2 run 2 and I'm still alive! In my head I am a 15 year old girl in the hockey team, doing gymnastics, playing tennis, cross country running - slim and active - now the reality, I am a 47 year old woman married with two children, 1 stone overweight...
