When you're repeating run 7, are you finding that you are covering a greater distance each time or staying about the same? I think it's our minds we have to train as much as anything. I TOTALLY agree with this - the programme is designed to be stretching yet achievable at each stage, and as the weeks progress you will probably be surprised at how quickly your body adjusts. Thanks for the tip, Benjohn, I tried the ministry of silly walks thingy today and it did make a difference. Well done - I've just come back from doing the same. I too was doubtful that it was possible to go from two 8-minute runs to one 20 minute run but everyone said "trust the programme", so I did, and I did it too :mrgreen: I'm sure people can walk faster than I was "running" at som...
