Thank you to Fabrisky for the advice. I've taken longer rest between my runs and this have actually helped lessen my shin pain(although not totally gone!). I have also had a gait check done. The outcome was basically adding cushioned inserts to my running shoes. Maybe the addition of the sole insert...

Thank you for the reply. The pain is on the front of the shins (more pronouced on my left leg) & also on the inner ankles of both legs. I'll try your suggestion, as currently to walk is not overly painful. I'm also going to have a gait check done. As I purchased a pair of over-pronating running...

Fed-up!!

I've just had to abandon run 2 week 3. Due to very painful lower leg pain. The unfortunate thing is that although I'm far from fit my CV has been bearing up well thus far! The pain has gradually escalated from the middle of week 2. I tried different shoes, but these actually felt worse. So reverted ...
