Re: Graduation - here I come
I've done it - I have completed the programme - it must be the first exercise programme I've stuck to in my life - the question is now what? I think I'll aim to do 5K more comfortably or get a bit further in 30 mins and then take it out onto the road - I've had it a bit soft by jogging on my treadmi...

Re: 20 minutes!!! Oh lord help me!
Well done - cracking that first 20mins is scary - it does seem like a huge jump and isn't it amazing how you think you'll breeze through the next run because you've done 20mins and suddenly find it's not a breeze! I still get butterflies in my stomach before every run and I'm only getting up on the ...

Graduation - here I come
1 more run and I will have completed the programme - I can't believe I have come this far - from gasping after a 1 minute jog to doing 35 mins non stop - I am very proud of myself. Thank you get running for this app - I could not have done it without you - I'm going to keep repeating the last week a...

Re: Still,,,,attached to couch,,, Need Encourage
Go for it - it's worth it - Im 5ft 3 and was just over 15stone when I started - everything wobbled and jiggled and I was counting down the seconds for each run - but now 3 months later I'm 17 pounds lighter and can jog for 35 mins non stop - a pair of jeans in the back of the wardrobe long forgotten...

Re: run 1 week 4 HELP!!!
Don't worry if you don't complete a run - do as much if it as you can and repeat it the next day and try to do a little more - keep repeating until you crack it - you're still improving your fitness and burning calories - try not to look ahead it only gives you progression anxiety i.e. If I only jus...

Re: 20 minutes!!! Oh lord help me!
Just take your run 5mins at a time - tell yourself you'll just 10 and then see how you go and you may as well do the next five and then there's only 5 left - that's what I did, you sort of fool yourself into doing it - it worked for me because I've done wk 9 run 2 today and voluntarily jogged an ext...

Re: Mental techniques for running long distances
I started out listening to uptempo music on my iPod but as I progressed i find that listening to an audio book really passes the time - I jog on a treadmill at home so there are no distractions and without my iPod it'd be extremely boring just watching the numbers clock up

Re: Couch to 21.1K
That is absolutely fantastic - you must be a whole new person - congratulations on a such a hard-earned achievement - don't think I'll ever do a marathon but I do look at other joggers that seem so move with so much ease and think to myself someday that will be me

Re: Week 2 done & still alive
Told you you'd be fine - well done - it's great to hear how people a few steps ahead are getting on and that they're feeling the same progression anxiety
