Update

Hi, I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the guys and gals that produced this app. I started running back in Sept and completed the course in Dec. I have since gone on to run my first 10K race last weekend and finished with a time of 1:12:16. Not going to break any world records but I feel it...

Name: Abby Palmer Location: Bacton, Suffolk, UK Age: 33 years Finished: 10th December 2011 This plan has been life changing for me, when I first started I would never believed that I could actually run for half an hour ! I am now fit, strong and healthily. I'm much happier about my body shape and no...

Increasing speed week 8

Hi, I've just begun week 8 and now thinking about the end of the plan. Currently my running speed is approx 7:30 mins/per k and I need to aim to reduce this to 6:00 for week 9 to meet the 5k goal in 30 mins. I'm finding increasing speed, is increably hard, so much so I'm wondering if I'm more a dist...

Strangely when I first begin my run, my body really complains and I wonder if I can make the first 5 mins let alone the next 20, but by the end, im feeling like I still have lots to give and that the workout wasnt hard at all. go ...

Re: Comparing running with life

Hi, I think your post is a really intresting topic, and has had me thinking since reading it when first added to the forum. Since running I've noticed a lot of changes, but I think the main thing it has proven to myself is I can see things through to the end (well almost im starting week 7 tomorrow)...

Re: Help please. :)

Hi, Do you have a good pair of trainers? The most important thing to know is you must have a good pair of running shoes. I made the mistake of waiting before purchasing some and ended up with a sprained ankle in week 3. I now have completely recovered and i'm about to run week 6 day 3 - 25mins of ru...

Completed week 6 day 1

Hi, After a very long break because of a cold and going on holiday, I'm back on the program! Got home yesterday and went for my first run in what feels like ages - completed week 6 day 1 but was glad for the breaks :-) Hopefully, but not that I want to stop the plan, I will get to week 9 in no time.
