Re: FINISHED

The results weren't what I was hoping for....40:33....I crashed and burned (walked) in the middle and just couldn't put together anything except at the end. A little disappointing but I did complete it and I now have a benchmark to beat the next time out!

Get Running is a great app and so glad that I gave it a shot! I remember how tough those 8 1-min runs were in week one..never thinking I could do 30 min...

Re: Need advice on Week 3

What is cool about the next week is the runs you struggle on this week are a piece of cake next week...you will feel like you have 3 min runs mastered....week 4 you will feel like you have 5 min runs mastered....it just keeps building...I am doing week 9 run 2 tonight for 30 mins...never in a millio...

Re: Week 6 Run 3 question - pace?

I am doing week 9 run 1 tonight. I am a slow runner but I am using this program for stamina. I would probably be doing a 40 min 5k right now but that's alright. After this week, I am going to work on speed and distance. I think I can get down to 30 min 5k if I don't give up! Thinking about running t...

Re: Wondering when the good days start to outnumber the bad

I don't know that I love running yet. (Week 8 run 1 tonight) but I get out there every day that I am supposed to. It's actually dread sometimes BUT once I get out there and get going, it's on!!! I absolutely love the way I feel at the end of a run! It makes everything worthwhile! I failed one time (...

I love this program...

I am 51 year old who has never like running in the slightest but got tired of all kinds of diets, etc that were temporary helps. I decided to try Get Running and I am fixing to do Week 7 Run 1 tonight which is just a repeat of 6x3. To me, it is unbelievable that I ran the 25 minute 6x3 run last Frid...
