Anyone recommend a 5k - 10k App????

I have just finished my 20 min run so I suppose I may be getting a bit a head of myself here but I really want to build on my progress when I finish this 5k one (notice I said "when" and not "if" - that's confidence for you!! ) I would love to complete a 10k race at some po...

Re: Treadmill Fraudster?!

I'm like you, I did all my runs on the treadmill - just done my 20min run and could have high fived myself, I was sooo chuffed  I don't care what anyone says, I could hardly finish the 1 minute runs in week one when I started and had to take about a week off because of the pain but I've just do...

Re: One down!

I agree, don't be too hard on yourself - at the end of the day, you still did run 3. Re: So how flexible on days can I be?

Hi Ringo - well done firstly. I am due to do w2r2 tomorrow, so still early days for me but thought I'd share my week one experience with you. After my first run, I genuinely was in super pain. I found it difficult to walk and stand up after being seated as I was seizing up, so I put off my second ru...

Re: One down!

Well done Bloomers! I have just finished week one. Found the first run really hard and I could hardly move for about 3 days afterwards. Did second run after 4 days (instead of the 2 recommended) and found it a bit easier than week one and there was certainly not as much pain! Just finished run 3 but...

Re: I'm new and sooo unfit!

Hi gem, I started week 1 day 1 yesterday & I'm paying for it today!! I've been doing loads of walking (completed a marathon in sept) but got to say I also felt very unfit on this run. Got to say that it was a pretty good app to keep me going - I found the woman very encouraging! Like u, I'm not ...
