Thanks again to the developers of this app...
Finished last year and have continued running. Lost 20 pounds so far. I run 5 miles every other day and plan on running some local 5Ks soon. My goal is to be able to run 10 miles by the end of the year. Still got a good bit of weight to lose but I'm getting there.

Done! Thanks to the creators of this app for rekindling my love of running. Hopefully my thread has inspired a few people to keep at it even when things weren't going well. And don't let that first 20 minute run scare you. You can do it!

Re: Only One Week Left!!
I used Map My Run yesterday and liked it. Mapped my route, kept track of distance, time, calories, etc. With my last run being this Friday I'll probably experiment more next week.

Re: Week 1 day 1...couldn't finish
Word of advice...never run the day after getting accelerated allergy shots. Struggled breathing the whole run. I did finish but I was barely standing at the end and gasping for breath. Probably should have taken my epi pen with me. Still, one run to go and I'm done.

Re: Neck pain due to incorrect breathing?
I had some neck pain as well as headaches. Turned out my shoulders were too tense while running and I wasn't keeping my head up. Loosened up my shoulders and kept my head up and it went away.
