Re: Do runs get easier??

Yes!!! I'm on week 9. Took me 12 weeks to get here, but hey doing better than I was 12 weeks ago, by far. I can't believe it gets easier And I actually look forward to it. I'm running on the treadmill so I don't have to worry about the temp anyway. Hopefully I'll be aBle to get a jog stroller soon. ...

Re: Running Pace & Distance

I am so slow!! Takes me 55 Minutes to do the 5k. I'm in panick mode because I'm in a relay on feb 11. My part is only 5k, thank God, but I hate dragging my team down. Any ideas how to speed up in only 2 weeks???!! Help!!

Thanks! I'll see if my library has it. I just read one where this lady does a marathon on each continent, including Antartica. No way Jose. The book is called second wind.

Re: Week 8 and I'm a bit stuck

I'm on week 8 also. Running a 5k race on Feb 11, and there is no way I'll be able to finish at the pace im going. At week 8 shouldn't I be running more than 1.5 miles? 3.2 miles seems so far away!!!!

Re: Just started week seven

I'm having trouble with the week 6. Hopefully this week I'll do better on the 25 min run. Couldn't finish it one time. Net time did w6r2 again. All kinds of fail. I guess I should start at w6r1 again?? What would you do??? :geek:

Right there with you. My legs felt like lead today. Week 6 run 2. However I think part if it was not drinking enough water. Hopefully next time will be better.
