Good on you for starting. I found in week one my legs really ached especially going down stairs but it faded into week two. Now on week 6 and running 25mins none stop. Can't believe I'm doing it seeing as week one run one I could only do 30secs at a time!

Definitely worth keeping at it. I have always believed that I'm not "built for running" but saw Charlie Brooker's column and figured that it worth a try. I could only manage 30secs running at a time on week one run one but due for my first 20 min run tomorrow.

Totally agree. I feel like I'm carrying a few mince pies and a hundred weight of Christmas cake with me. Due to do week 5 run 3 tomorrow (eek!) - wish me luck fellow runners
