Congrats Missmolly! Good job. I just finished week 9 run 1 and it was great. It's gonna be hard finishing this programe. Will also miss this forum.

That is great steph and congratulations. I'm starting week 9 on monday and just can't wait. It's been and interesting journey but a fun one nonetheless. Keep it up.

Did my first W8R1 run today and I must say it was my best run since starting Get running! I found a comfortable pace and stuck with it for the entire 28 mins. My breathing has improved and for the first time I felt no shin pain.

Week 8

Can not believe it's week 8 already! Week 7 was a challenge but I made it. Thanks to everyone for the the tips and encouragement. This forum has been a real blessing and a great source of information especially for those of us that have never been runners. Let's keep it up and keep running. :D :D :D

Finished Week 7 on a high note. The key for me was slowing my pace down.I'm still experiencing some shin pain but it's tolerable and i'm hoping it will become less and less as i get stronger.

Good job SSSM and everyone else! I does start to come together after awhile. I did my W7R2 yesterday. I took everyone's advice and slowed my pace down and it made a big difference. I have to keep reminding myself that running is now a part of my life and not a race to finish the program. Let's keep ...
