Re: I did it! I did it!
Well done and congrats. And for me, I found once I got the 25 minutes, stepping up to to 28 and 30 minutes was not that much more. Keep it up!

Re: What do you do on your days off?
When I started this program back in January it was part of a challenge to workout 30 days in a row - so I alternated the program with brisk incline walks on the treadmill, as well as daily stretching program. I ran every other day, never taking the 2 rest days as per the program. I am now 58 days st...

Re: My 20 min run
I had the same trouble - ran the 20 min run and then had trouble with the 2x10 minute runs - took me a couple of attempts to get through it. I have been working away at the 25 minute run, but finally decided to deviate slightly from the program...I was having too much trouble jumping from 10 minutes...

Re: Knowing when to repeat weeks
I know what worked for me - I did each individual run until I did the whole thing without stopping. I have been working away at the 25 minute run since last week but am making progress with each run Listen to your body, and take care of your knees - there is nothing wrong with repeating a run or a w...

Totally seeing the difference....and so happy
Ok - Yesterday I ran W6R3, the 25 minutes yesterday....took a couple of small walking breaks but overall was happy with my progress. Today was my first official training day for my 220 km bike ride that I have in June....and I totally felt the difference with my legs and muscles. The running has so ...

Re: Week 7
Take that W6R2....I DID IT! No matter that it took 4 attempts! My mid back has been bothering me with a strain muscle, so I put some biofreeze sports rub in it this morning and DID IT! Onto the 25 minute run on Saturday, then hopefully week 7! PS - had to wear my rain jacket today for the first time...

Re: Week 7
Im right there with you SkiPixie - ran the 10-10 again yesterday (2nd attempt). Got through the first 10, and then the first 5 of the second 10. Alternated between fast walk and run for the last 5 minutes. Going to give it a go again tomorrow....and maybe again Thursday, leaving the 25 minute run fo...

Re: Please Help! Week 6 Struggles!
Well, tackled my 10-10 run this morning...made it through the first 10 minutes, but it was struggle. Have some pain across the centre of my back, think it might be a pulled/strained muscle which is worsened by every running step. I alternated running and fast walking the second 10 minutes. I am goin...
