Re: And so it begins

Congratulations! I was a 30 a day smoker in December but quit on Jan 4th. I discovered Get Running a month or so later and managed to get through the whole course with only having to redo one week! It was a great feeling! I am now on Week 3 of Bridge to 10K and I recently did a Parkrun (google it) c...

Re: Which are the best Headphones for Running?

It's probably bad form to reply to my own post but I thought I should provide an update on what I purchased in the end. I did a LOT of research about this. I'm a terrible geek when it comes to this stuff! For me personally I budgeted around 100 pounds because I wanted durability! In the end I settle...

It works for most of the other forums I frequent and it would be nice to easily access the forums from my iPhone and iPad. http://tapatalk.com/ The phpBB plugin is available here: http://t...

Looking for recommendations for a 10K App

I have just completed C25K and don't want to stop there! Since there is currently no 10K follow up App to Get Running (hint! hint!), I am interested to know what Apps people have tried as a follow up? I am looking for a Bridge-to-10K app or similar. What Apps did you try? What worked best for you? W...

Re: Couch Potato to Pan Fried Tomato

5K in 25 mins is pretty quick - definitely not hanging around at that speed! Maybe if you slow down a bit and enjoy it, and work on increasing your distance, you'll find the high you are looking for!

Which are the best Headphones for Running?

I am just about to start week 9 and, other than having to give up Fridays run halfway through - my heart wasn't in it that day - it has all been a great experience so far. I've completed every other run so far without a problem, and am rapidly approaching my current goal of 5K in 30mins! That being ...
