First see a doctor or sports med clinic if in your area. I had knee pain on my 1st and 2nd run. Then i read about Pose style and i now use minimalist shoes and mid foot strike and my knee pain left I was running with a heel strike. It may not work for everyone but it helped me. Good luck.

Hi. Make sure you are hydrated. Get a large sport type drinking bottle and drink small amounts through the day until you have finished 2full bottles. I've been taken of a ski hill in a sled from pain and cramping in my legs just because I was dehydrated. I learn my lesson that day. Drink lots of wat...

Hi All. Just completed w1r2. I'm 64. I windsurf and kayak.
And I am From Canada. I'm running to increase bone density and feel good. My run is slower than my walk is and I really appreciate the comment "No need for speed" at the bottom of the Forum page. So far glad I joined.
