Today I finished the get running program! Nine weeks ago when I began I doubted that I could really do this. Age 57, never before a runner, how could this really work? But folks, I did it! I figured she's from Australia, but I'm an american, so what do I know! :-) I kind of miss her now that I'm in week nine and she only speaks every ten minutes.....

Just ran across your post, Polly. I was right in the same spot 7 weeks ago. Yes, tomorrow is the final run of week 7 and I can't believe it. Although I've been a walker for years and years I just never could run. But, I can now! And I'm --- 57 years old! I'm so proud of myself. ~ Peace, Colleen
