Re: Roll of honour
Finished last Saturday, although wasn't happy with how I did: got interrupted by someone asking for directions - at 530am! - which put me off my stride completely, so the last ten mins was a bit of a mess, as I knoew I wasn't going to improve on R2 of the week. As such, I re-did it yesterday, plus a...

Re: Losing weight
I've just completed C25k right the way through and lost....one pound! And a lens from my reading glasses, which were on my head and forgotten about on one run!

Re: I'm stuck
You've just got a psychological block: if you can do the 20 - and you did! - you can certainly do the 25. You just have to believe in your ability. :) When you attempt the 25, why not just aim for the 20 minute mark, which you know you *can* do, then either stop there or some point between there and...

Re: Where is The Voice from?
@toilet duck: she's still doing the ten second thing in week 5, as well as 45s. Have you been rude to her?! I reckon she originates from the west country but not as far as Dorset I wouldn't think. There is the occasional burr, but she probably went to boarding school as her accent has become more of...

Using GetRunning with a GPS sports watch.
After completing week one, I got an overwhelming urge to also garner more info about how I was doing in terms of mileage for each session (as I vary my route each time) and, more importantly, that I wasn't asking too much of the old ticker; I didn't feel like I was, but I wanted to make sure that th...

Re: Sticky: Introductions!
Better late than never! Having done W4R2 today, I figured it was about time I finally got around to introducing myself on the forum: I'm 51, was fit and lithe in my youth as a result of being in the army, but, 30 years on, am now somewhat of a lard arse ! I smoked for years, but finally boot...
