Re: Wk 1 Run 1 Tried and failed miserably!
Just be glad you didn't try to start when it was sunny! Like the others have said we've all struggled, from what I've read it seems everyone here started in pretty much the same place: complete lack of fitness. But it does get slightly easier. As for what to wear I just wear leggings with a baggy ve...

Week 4 run 1
I "completed" week 4 run 1 today and oh my goodness it was awful! I say "completed" because I had to stop half way through each of the five minute runs for a little sit down... So not the best. I came home feeling like a total failure, but you know what? I haven't exercised for a...

Re: Does anyone not manage?
Like everyone has said its you that sets the pace and as long as you don't just give up there's no failure or not managing. I'm only just starting week 4 but I find that the more you do it the more you want to continue. Good luck and remember its not a competition it's making a positive decision to ...

Ridiculous heat!
So London (not sure about the rest ok the uk) is crazy hot at the moment, it's so bad that i haven't been out for a run since Saturday. I'm hoping to go out once it's dark and hopefully a bit cooler tonight but I'm starting week 4, which I've been massively worried about anyway, and was wondering if...

Re: Week 3, Worried about Week 4
I've just finished week 3 run 2 and I'm already stressing about week 4, it sounds ridiculous but 5 minutes just feels like such a long time!

Re: Is anyone else basically an exercise virgin?
Thank for all the motivational words guys, I've just finished week three run two and I feel great, exhausted but great! I even got up at 6am to do it because I knew I wouldn't have time after work! I honestly feel like I'm changing my life and all from an app that cost next to nothing! My advice to ...

Re: Motivational List
I'm doing it to get fitter- fit enough that I'm no longer too ashamed to use the free gym and work.
