Re: W7R3
I would try the run as well if you completed run 1 and 2 ok. I just ran w7 run 3 the day after run 2 as I can't run tomorrow as scheduled and it was actually my best run yet. I almost didn't hear the lady telling me to stretch out. This was the first time I actually felt like I could carry on runnin...

Re: Week 5 Run 2- :-)
Keep going. You're nearly at run 3 and honestly the thought of it is worse than the doing it. The prompts on the app really help don't they? I was supposed to start w6 yesterday but the weather was truly awful just torrential rain all day (send some of your heat this way!!) and this evening now ther...

Re: W8 R2 Complete - What happened to my buddies?
You both have to keep going as you're both so close to completing the programme. Week 7 and 8 still seems a long way off for me. I am finding it really useful reading everyone's posts especially those who are ahead of me - it lets me know what to expect. Keep at it as looking forward to rwadi g abou...

Re: Began week 5 today!
I think w5 is when the mind games begin because the runs do get noticeably longer. But you've done the first run of w5 and I always think the first run of the week is the worst as you never quite know what to expect but it's always an amazing feeling when you complete. Here's to r2 for you. You can ...

Re: W5 R3 - 20 mins
Thks for all the comments, I knew all you guys would totally get it! Way to go DebL I was wondering how your 20 min run went. So glad you completed means we can both move onto week 6. I know what you mean about the prompts keeping you going. I was just about ready to stop a couple of times when the ...

Re: W5 R3 - 20 mins
I'm glad it's not just me then! Running is fast becoming my main topic of conversation. Wow week 8 still seems a long way off. You're doing really well, are you going to tell me each run gets a little easier or do you still find some runs tough? Keep going and good luck. Week 9 will soon be here for...

W5 R3 - 20 mins
I did it! I actually did it and ran 20 mins straight without stopping. Honestly I can't stop talking about it, you'd think I'd just won an Olympic gold medal or something!! Still it's a big achievement for me as 5 weeks ago I could just about run a minute. Now today I ran 20 and in the 30 mins slot ...

Re: W5
Way to go DebL! We are at exactly the same stage as I just ran w5r2 tonight. Managed to complete it as well but covered slightly less ground than r1 as really had to slow my pace for the last 3 mins of the 2nd run. I have just realised that the route I took tonight tho was more uphill than usual so ...

Re: W5
Rain finally stopped and I have just ran w5r1 and covered 3.8km in 31 mins. Today is the first time I have really believed that in another few weeks I just may be able to run 5km in 30 mins. That said the thought of a 20 min straight run this week is a little daunting for me too as tho' I found the ...
