Thanks! I didn't even think to go there since I've been here for so long :) Love this forum - what a great compliment to the app.

w9r3 - possible next steps input

After starting the end of April, I finished my last run of the program today! Woo hoo! I'm actually amazed and surprised that I made it all the way through :) This run was harder than the one on Wednesday - maybe because of the higher temps/higher humidity or maybe just because. But my goal is alway...

Re: New to Running

Congratulations on taking the step for yourself - and for your daughter. It's hard to take the time - and for many years and with 4 kids - I didn't. But, I'm seeing the benefits as I finish up week 9 in both my own health, attitude - and my kids. You've taken the hardest step - starting. Cheering yo...

Running Books for beginners

I'm amazed to be doing W8R1 tomorrow - still slow but doing it! I've really been enjoying reading some books about the joy of running by John "The Penguin" Bingham - columnist from Runner's World Magazine who "commands "the Penguin Brigade" - those thousands of dedicated run...

Re: Here I go!!

Wow! To already be thinking about a half marathon - amazing! I know some people have said that running outside was a little different than the treadmill, so eventually you may want to do some runs outside if you're looking to race. Otherwise, all runs count in my book - keep up the good work!

Re: Found my confidence... moving on to W8.

Congrats on pushing through! I love reading what people discover about themselves in moving past the barriers. I'm enjoying the fact that running really is more than just physical - so much stuff comes up and out as we move past what we always thought - or were told - that we could or couldn't do. I...
