3 weeks off

I finished week 9 about the middle of August just before going on my 2 week holiday. I was determined to run while away but when I got to Devon and saw the steep hills I thought I'd just do a bit of swimming (I live in East Anglia no hills!!). I then came down with a rotten bug and ended up not runn...

Re: W7 r1 fail :(

I know exactly what you mean. My days seem to be up and down at the moment one day good and the next bad. I've just finished week 9 and am going to keep on at the 30 min runs for a while to increase my speed so I can cover more distance.
Keep it up I'm sure your next run will be a good one! :)

Re: Gutted!

I've just finished week 9 and I'm the same as you. I have done 2.75 miles in 30 mins just couldn't speed up to get the 3.1 miles. I managed 3 miles in 33 mins the other day but yesterday only managed 2.6 miles. Each day seems to be different. What we have achieved is massive we've just got to work o...

Re: Not breaking any records here...

Well done to you!! I did the last run of week 9 on Monday, must admit I found it one of the hardest, my previous run was so much better I ran faster and further, think it was mind games getting to me. Feeling a bit lost though, where to go from here? I think I'll just keep on at 30 mins and trying t...

Re: 5K 2 days in a row!

Well done to you. I've just done week 9 run 1 and managed 2.75 miles so I need to increase my pace but I'm hoping that will come over the next few weeks. Think I'll stick to 30 mins for a while then see if I can add another min or two. Well done for doing the 5k by the time your race is here you sho...

Re: What are you listening to?

I agree with you. I've been running to the same thing but have now got a bit bored with it. So I'm up for any suggestions too. Think I need to change the music every 3-4 weeks.

Re: Week 8 Run 2

I want to fInish but I don't want to finish, I've really enjoyed the journey don't want it to end!!!! Still I'v...

Re: Week 5 Run 3

Must admit I thought the same at first but I managed it ok. It's not as bad as you think. The thought of it is worse than the actual run but the feeling when you've done it is amazing!!
Just give it a go you may surprise yourself, I know I did

Re: Finished!

Wow!!! well done you!!!!! I'm hoping I'm going to be in your position within the next 2 weeks. Just can't believe that a few weeks ago I was dreading running for 5 mins now I can run for 25 mins. It's amazing and all down to this app and especially this forum, everyone is so encouraging. Well done h...
