Thanks for the reply. At this point I'm sticking to just running, but as I gain more stamina would like to do something more active every day (but one day of just rest sounds good too!)

Exercise on alternate days?

Does anyone do any? I know we are supposed to give our leg muscles a rest, but what about something different, like yoga? Would that be okay?

Hi, I'm Jenny and cannot quite believe that I've just finished week 1 of this marvelous app. I was a sprinter in high school and have been a walker as an adult, but always felt there was a level of sustained fitness I was missing and which would make me feel better and better prepare me for the hiki...
