Re: Get Running + RunKeeper = Awesome! (and some advice)
I love runkeeper! When I first downloaded it I wasn't sure. I made the mistake of having too many audio cues and like you say...it interfered with get running. Claire and the auto voice were in competition with each other! I very quickly leant how to turn those audio cues off! But for letting me kno...

Re: Making a running playlist!
Hi I don't think I could complete a run without Kelly Clarkson's what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Also downloaded Amelia Lily's new one...even though once telling myself I'd never buy X factor songs...I love it for running. Plus some Muse and Killers and Kate Bush's Running up that Hill! :-...

Re: I am really...really...really...
I repeated week 8 run 1 today and it went so much better than the last time. I definitely set off slower and kept it steady the whole way. When I say I repeated w8 r1 what I should say is that I managed to cancel the get running app somehow! So when I got to the point where I thought "come on C...

Re: I am really...really...really...
Well done Vinay!! Sending a virtual high five :D Must be a great feeling to complete this brilliant app! Good luck with the training for the 10k. Will you use another training coach to help you along the way or just build up on distance gradually now that YOU CAN RUN 30 MINS!!! :) I didn't have the ...

Re: Ouch ouch ouch - knee problem!
Hi!
Great to hear your knee has recovered. It must be horrible to have the enthusiasm and motivation and then an injury stops you in your tracks.
Thanks for the song recommendation! It's ready on my playlist for tomorrow's run

Re: So chuffed with this app
I keep wanting to hit the "like" button reading yours and everyone's posts :) I have lost some weight but I think that's down to weight watchers which I started after the running. Before that I wasn't getting much joy from the scales but clothes were definitely fitting better. Good luck wi...

Re: I am really...really...really...
Moondance Wow a triathlon!... Now that's inspirational! Good luck with your training for that. Week 2 seems a long time ago now..probably because I have repeated the odd week along the way. I know what you mean about the lungs bursting phase but you do get to a point when the breathing gets easier ...

...loving this app! I am so pleased I found it! I remember at school, they made us run a mile around the field and I really thought I was going to die!! That was too many years ago to count and I still remember it vividly! I told myself then that i'd never be a runner. I've just completed week 7 run...

Re: Back on it tommorow
Sorry to hear about your flu. Must be so frustrating when it's feeling a struggle to get out for the runs anyway. I think we're being too hard on ourselves. I don't know about you but before July I couldn't run across a road without getting out of breath but look at us now...20-25 mins without stopp...

Re: Back on it tommorow
Hiya! Just wondering how its going for you?! These last couple of weeks i've found excuses not to run..its too hot/i'm ill/kids birthdays etc.. but I'm determined to finish it now!! A few weeks back we were on the same week but I think you must be nearly finished whereas i'm still in week 7 and find...
