Short break from running advice

After recently having had a cold that stopped me running for over a week I was just wondering after stopping running for a short time should you restart your running from where you finished?

Finding Week 7 Run 3 Hard.

After having a cold I've twice failed to complete this run, first time of trying only managed 10 mins and couldn't go any further today managed a broken 20 mins run, hopefully on Tuesday I'll finally finish this weeks run, I'll keep going until I finish.

Hi Riley this happened to me I'd running for weeks no issues then I had pain in my calf shortly into a run after resting and the pain going I'd be able to run again for a few weeks then it would hurt again in same place, this happened a few times, I traced it back to my running shoes I needed a neut...

Finished week 6 today thought the 25 minute run was the hard going but managed to keep going, looking forward to two days rest and then another 25 minute run again on Tuesday.

Just finished week 4 starting week 5 now, first run of week 4 was hard but after finishing it I felt very proud that I managed it, strange to say thinking a few weeks ago I wasn't running at all but looking forward to my 3 x 5 minute runs.
