Re: Week 9 starts today

A manic work schedule prevented me from a normal running plan - but I completed week 9 on Monday. No rain, nice and cool evening run. I was tired though, and my pace was not what it could be. Re: Week 9 starts today

I hope you are having better weather!

My second run is tomorrow and the weather remains very wet. On the bright side, at least it is cool

Re: HELP!

Lead legs - quite normal - at least for me! Since the programme progressively raises the bar, lead legs remains a common aspect - again, at least for me! But the programme & the progression is very well conceived - trust in it! You will be surprised at how much you can do and how soon. Yes it is...

When I started running my legs already felt tired so it was harder than usual. But I got there in the end. I think that provided you disciplin...

Re: Sticky: Introductions!

High time for a proper introduction. I hit 47 this year and have never been able to run. Swim yes, but run? Forget it. But then I came across this app and since I (a) needed to get fit & de-stress and (b) lose weight I decided to give it a go. Now I am on week 8 and actually enjoying it. M...

Re: What do you listen to when you are running then?? ;)

My musical taste tends to the extreme. And when I run I like to listen to the relentless beat of rhythmic noise. That ceaseless mechanical pounding does the trick for me. This is my current playlist: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewIMix?id=377662645&s=143444 Not for the fai...
