Congratulations! I'm on week 2 as well (repeating it because I was ill first time around). It feels great doesn't it!

Re: Has anyone lost weight doing this?

I'm still relatively new to the programme, and weight loss isn't one of my personal goals for it, but what I've found already is that if I've been eating trash then the running is SO much harder. For example, today we were eating lots of cake for my boyfriend's birthday, and then I went out for an e...

Re: I am really...really...really...

Moondance, I'm on week 2, though I don't have anything as big as a triathlon in my ambitions list! That's pretty impressive! I can't really imagine being able to run for even five minutes straight at the moment, but I really hope I'll be able to at some point...

Re: I'm back!!!

Congratulations! I'm just on week 2 now, one more run to go this week. It's a bit intimidating being at the beginning, isn't it, but we'll get to our half hour runs in the end!

Re: Good tips? Especially to win the mental battles?

These are all great tips! And ausgirl, I love your blog and all the tips you have on it - especially the tips on motivation and on completing time goals before tackling pace and distance. I'm a bit disheartened by my pace at the moment but I know it's something to work on later. One thing at a time!...

Re: Arggghhhh

Oh no! That's such a shame, but well done you for staying on track and sticking with week 6 - that took a lot of guts. The only thing you can do now is look after yourself and then, when you're ready to run again, get back out there and complete that 25 minute run that's still waiting for you! You c...

Re: Good tips? Especially to win the mental battles?

Oh, good tips! One thing I try to do is separate my body from my mind - it's hard to explain, but I try to think, 'Of course my legs can do this, they're healthy human legs, I just need to shut up and let them do their thing.' I have to remember that my brain freaking out and thinking 'I can't do it...

Well done! Feels like such a long away away for me, but I can't wait to be where you are! Congratulations!

Re: What shall I do

I'm only on week 1 but already pretty sure I'm going to need to repeat weeks - everyone is different and taking your time is the right thing to do as long as you're consistent, I think. Just give it a go and see what you can manage! Good luck!
