I miss Get Running :(
I graduated back in October and for me, running hasn't been as successful since. I couldn't get as motivated as I could with this app, and found myself drifting in and out of training. As a result I had almost a 2 month break before getting back out there and tackling a 4.75km distance yesterday ...

Graduated a couple of weeks ago now
Forgot to mention it on here! Loved the app, you did a great job of helping to motivate me!
I now have a couple of weeks left to train for my first 5k, followed by a training plan for the Reading Half Marathon! Something I'd never be saying if I'd never come across GetRunnung.

Re: Started, but didn't finish the first run
Hi.
I have just completed week 8, and there have been two occasions where I haven't been pleased with myself or haven't successfully completed a day. When this has happened I've just said 'oh well, that was excersise anyway' and done the day again another time! You'll feel more sense of achievement ...

Re: 20 minute run in week 5?!
Well Done! I got watery eyes too and thought I was so silly, but it's such an amazing thing to achieve.

My legs wanted to keep running when I walked, such an odd feeling did you get that?

Started Week 5 Today - Question...
Today's run went really well - would it be that terrible of me to run again tomorrow? It's a day that I don't have my daughter around. Just wondering! Up to now I've been a good girl doing it only every other day and resting 2 days at the weekend.
Could it really be that bad? I know people who run ...

Tiredness
This may not be related but there's a chance it is, which is why I'm posting here.
I've been very fatigued this week and wonder if it's my dedication to the C25K programme. A good example is last night. I was tired and couldn't work up enthusiasm for anything yesterday and was ready for bed at half ...

Re: Sticky: Introductions!
Hi,
just completed run 1 of week 1. The shin splints kicked in after run 2 so I took to the grass which seemed to help. Nice to see I'm not the only mad runner in Hyde park before 7 am! I feel great now, full of energy.
Looking forward to rest until Thursday!
Orla
