Re: Week 6 - horrible!!

I also found week 6 hard but it is doable. I slowed my pace right down ( didn't think I could go slower than I was going already!!) and seemed to finish it, gasping like a fish out of water but completed all the same.
I'm sure you'll be fine

Re: Running Recommendations

What a fab topic, agree with the bra comment although I use shock absorber running bra. My recommendation would be to invest in some body glide/vasaline. I never had a problem with chaffing until I upped my mileage! After finishing my first ever 6.1miles jog/walk I was so pleased with myself, until ...

A massive THANK YOU

Can't believe I can write a post in the graduated forum :-) I started the c25k in January after agreeing to run a 10k at the end of may. I want to say a massive thank you for producing the app and getting even the most sedentary couch potatoes up and exercising. I can't believe that in under 4months...

Re: Why am i gasping like a fish out of water???

Wish I could sort out my breathing, because I'm sure I could get further if I could breath easier!
I'm sure when I'm jogging along and am coming up behind someone, I see them turning around think who the hell is that heavy breathing behind me!! Hopefully I will get it shortly!! X

Re: Started today!

Just stick to the program and it will get you both through. Remember even if you have a bad running day, you would've still done better than sitting on the sofa at home, just enjoy the ride because the highs are worth all the effort x

Re: Week 5 run 3 - DONE!

Congrats on finishing w5r3, it sure is an achievement, although I have hit the spot yet whwn I think I can run forever like some have. Just starting w7 and still long to hear the magical words of " only 10 seconds left" before stopping and fading for breath, although my recovery rate has i...

Re: Four stone overweight but doing it!

Well done, you'll get there, it's amazing how suddenly you can run the 20mins on wd5, I'm much slower now than when I started but that way I can complete the runs, and as they say speed comes with time. Haven't followed w6 routine, yesterday run for 25mins, slowed down again and I managed to complet...
