Re: Started today!

Ouf! Week 3 completed, R3 not too hard but boy! Have just done Week 4 R1! First 5 minutes stint nearly finished me off but bizarrely found the second run not too strenuous. Had to stop momentarily for a dog who thought I was playing chasie! Lost my rhythm for a bit, wish people would keep their dog ...

Re: New and desperately unfit hello and diary :)

I have just completed Week 3 Run 1, a bit out of breath, face as red as a beetroot but I did it! I think I am feeling the runner's rush! ;) Frankie

Re: Started today!

I am on Week 3, I was very unfit. The great thing about this app is that you can repeat a week if you won't feel you can't proceed to the next level or if you've had a break.
Go at your own pace and enjoy the rush! I feel much better this week! Good luck! Frankie

Re: Running WITHOUT dieting?

You will feel better walking and running and this app is good. You can repeat weeks if you feel you cannot proceed to the next level. I agree with you that diets are evil. I find the rush you get from exercising helps with food control. Have you tried this instead of the traditional calorie controll...

Re: Granny on the Go

Well done Gamma Ginni! Keep up the good work!
I am also of grandma age but no grandchildren as yet.
I started end of January, had a bit of a break, have just completed Run 3 of Week 2. Hard work! I get out of breath. Starting Week 3 on Thursday with its 3 minutes run, ahghgh! Good luck!

This is brilliant to read. This child is already conditioned to healthy pursuits.

Re: New and desperately unfit hello and diary :)

Well, to my shame, fellow runners, I bailed out. I won't give you a litany of excuses. I spent a week snowboarding every day February half term week, went for a few long walks, biked 10 miles last Sunday and today thought: 'hey, snow is back with us! Last time it snowed, I was out running on this br...

Re: Any other newby's out there?!

Great to read how you are progressing. Managed at last to complete Week 1. Snow is melting luckily and the enforced break did not affect my performance too much. ;) I was not struggling for breath as much as I had been. I am looking forward to get on with Week 2 runs, hopefully with no interruptions...

Re: Any other newby's out there?!

Reading your posts made me feel better. We have a lot of snow in Wales at the mo so I have not been able to run for a few days. I have gone out for long walks instead but miss the running. I'll try and pick up where I left off (W1R3) and carry on with W2. I was so looking forward to seeing that firs...

Good on you! You are one run ahead of me. I am already looking forward to my W1 last run tomorrow. This app rocks! Good luck! Onwards!
