Still quite pleased with myself for getting this far, especially with a body like mine!! Measured the distance and it was just 2 miles. How do others match with distance/t...

Re: Week 6 - horrible!!
I did it!! Completed Wk 6 - just amazing. Went out yesterday thinking to myself, I would start the 25 minute run, and give myself rests when it got hard. Just didn't expect to do it!! WAsn't easy but I finished it. It's not the breathing that is hard, its the aching legs. But then I remember I could...

Having completed Wk 5 and really surprising myself, thought Wk 6 would be sooo easy! Its proving to be a hard slog. Just come back from run 2, completed, but now find run 3 is 25 minutes. After completing 20 minutes run last week, I guess I should be able to do this, but week proving to be one of th...

Re: Week 5 run 3 - DONE!

I guess you have some interesting places to run. This forum is so supportive, really helps to know others are going through the pain and challen...

Re: Week 5 run 3 - DONE!
yeah should have added, music really helps and running in interesting surroundings helps too. I have to run a little away from home so I'm not spotted by students from school...so quiet playing field is my running venue.

Re: pavement or grass?
thanks for replies...still running on grass, like being away from noise and people when running, and with lack of rain, ground still good. Starting wk 5 in 2 days yikes  can't imagine completing it, but giving it a go. May have to repeat wk 4, but like running on grass, so unless gets muddy w...
