Re: W9R3 done! Graduation day!

Thanks Mahn, good luck on your goals as well! I am aggressive but haven't really signed up for anything. But figured I needed another program for my own discipline. If not, I am afraid I would get caught up in trying to run faster than I should just to keep up with what people expect I will probably...

Completed week 9 Run 3 I have graduated!

I am so happy, I have just come back from my last run of the program and I have mixed emotions! I am happy to have completed this wonderful program and exited to call myself a runner, but sad to no I won't have Clare's encouraging voice. I look forward to hearing and learning about what all the grad...

Re: Struggling!!

Riley, it does get easier. Just stick with it. Slow down if you need to, or stop like you did. When your ready again, go at it. Take your time! Mahnster is right! You can do it, so many of us have had the same thought you have and then at the end of 9 weeks, we wonder why we ever doubted it could be...

W9R3 done! Graduation day!

Well there you go completed the program! I feel great! It's hard to believe the journey started only nine weeks ago. The time really has gone by quickly. I did my last run outside because the weather is fantastic! I want to enjoy it before the snow comes to Maine! Now onto the next chapter my runnin...

Re: Help!!

Fat guy, first congratulations on starting and keeping with the program. Today I go out for my last run, week9 run 3 and I will be doing it on a treadmill. Either way is fine in my opinion. Each person has a different evaluation method. I set a goal of finishing the program without hurting myself. T...

W9R1 completed

The start of week 9 went well. I played around a bit with my pace today, ran the first 10 minutes at normal pace, the second 10 at a slower than normal pace and the last 10 at a faster than normal pace. I felt great, no pain & breathing was good. I actually ended up covering more distance than n...

Congratulations Mahnster! I am looking forward to completing on one hand but will miss the structure of the program and the nice people on the forum! Do you plan on working on a 10k?

Week 8 in the books, onto to the final week!

Wow, finished W8R3 and I am getting myself ready for week 9. Today's run was really fun, nice easy pace, enjoying the run very much. I still haven't had that runners high yet, I guess I am haven't run far enough yet, but today was really enjoyable. Breathing was right, no cramping, legs felt good. I...
