You know you're a runner when...

You know you're a runner when you refuse to stop even though you have rocks in your shoes, a wedgie, and several bad songs on your play list. :)

Re: I just rocked week seven!

Its so great to hear how successful you are all doing! I was so inspired I went ahead and ran the 3.1 miles today. It was amazing! I'm not ready to do it everyday, but I freakin did it! I finished in 37 minutes, so not setting any records, but not bad for a girl who couldn't even run the mile in hig...

Re: Tracking Distance & Pace

I use the free runtastic app. It's great because it automatically adds your calories burnt to the my fitness pal app. I love it! As an added bonus I learned I'm running much further than I thought I was! It tracks distance, speed, and keeps a detailed history.

Is anyone else afraid of week 5???

I am starting week five today. I know I can do the first two runs but no way I will make it 20 minutes. Luckily Mother Nature has blessed Indiana with 80 degree days instead of the high 90's. I know this will help but 20 minutes is insane.

Re: Where in the world are you, and where do you run?

Oh I forgot to mention its been in the 90's here with super high humidity! Definitely makes me struggle, but I keep thinking how easy it will be when Fall comes around:)

Re: Where in the world are you, and where do you run?

I am so jealous! First off, Tennessee is my favorite place in the world, so I'm completely jealous of that! Castles and beaches? I will daydream of these while I run in our local park here near Indianapolis. It's not fancy but its flat, safe, and completely marked so its easy to tell how far I've go...
