Six months later...
Despite illness, surgery and a whole host of other distractions, I did my last run last night. I finished! I am now going to go and throw flowers at myself, as we say in Yorkshire. It took a while but I am back running and loving it. I've finally figured out how the time of day and food intake affects my energy levels, which really helps (morning with no food bad; afternoon about 5pm good). I'm still devoted to a treadmill, which I know many people find weird, but it's harder ...
