Re: Week Eight - Tough
Probably because you were running too fast. Start slowly for the first 10 minutes, increase your pace a little for the next 10 minutes. Put on some Rock music and sprint the last 8 minutes.

Is this true?
I just copied and pasted it from an online newspaper. Just wondering if it might actually be true. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Running might not be the ideal form of exercise, especially if y...

How to use the stopwatch?
Hi, I have basically finished this program, just 1 week to go. Now that I really don't need any audio-prompts from the app itself can someone please explain how use the stopwatch feature on the iPod touch. What I want is for it to ring a small alarm at 5 minutes then 35 minutes and then at 40 minute...

Re: Hittting a brick wall???
Well done Lovelylight!
Today I did my W7R1. And I had a secret weapon up my sleeve. AUDIOBOOKS! I didn't even realize I had run for 25 minutes though I'm sure my legs were tired-I was too engrossed in the book to tell. Hmmm....Twilight is not half bad! I used to think its for girls only

Re: Losing weight
I just finished week 6. So far I have not lost any weight but the shorts I used to run with 6 weeks ago simply don't fit me anymore (I tried running with them the other day and they slipped to me feet  ) and I need to wear a belt on all my jeans now. So I guess we are simply trading fat for mus...

Re: Distance
Hi Loose Nut I definitely recommend getting this app. Just read the forums, it has helped hundreds get off that couch and become fit! As for the C25K I too think it should have been called "Couch 2 30 minutes" although it sounds dumb. This question can only be answered by benjohn. In the e...

Re: Hittting a brick wall???
Woot! I smashed right through that brick wall of yours Eims and successfully did the 25 minute run today and I feel fantastic! My legs hurt plenty at first but then my body gave in and the pain evened out. By the 25th minute mark they partly dead :D but surprisingly enough my heart rate was steady a...

Re: Struggling
Hi star This exactly what is happening to me and I mean exactly! But finally I know what the problem is. I asked my professional runner friend who does like 42k marathons. He said that the body is now fighting back. It is simply trying to maintain equilibrium. People can get this feeling anytime and...

Re: Hittting a brick wall???
Hi Eims Congrats on the 25 minute run :) I had my 25 minute run today and...I failed miserably :( For some reason my legs would not co-operate and gave away after the 12 minute mark and I walked the rest. This is weird and I cannot understand what is happening. I feel a strong sensation of burning i...
