Cold weather running

Cold mornings are taking some of the pleasure out of my running. Any advice on kit etc.? I warm up well inside and make sure I am ready to go, but those first 5 mins is horrid, the next 5 only slightly better then I have warmed up and feel ok. If I put too many layers on I am boiling after 10 mins, ...

Running more often?

I have 4 runs left then I have finished the app! Delighted to be at this point- have been following the what next forums! I am loving running. I have rested every other day but never two days between weeks- just can't wait! Is it advisable to run more frequently than every other day? Advice please. ...

About £70. Fabulous fit. Never heard of make before, it's mizuno. I think having a specialist fit them is the important.

Best thing is to go to a specialist running shop. I got mine at a place where I had to run on a machine in the shop and they took a video to look at gait. I'd never been on a machine before and felt really daft!! The shoes have made a stunning difference to how I feel when running and lega feel bett...

I decided to repeat the 2 x 10 mins. It went well and I feel so much more positive! Day of rest then the 25 mins is next. Fingers crossed.

Having felt ok after my first 20 min run I too am confused and disheartened after doing 2 x 10 mins runs today. Nightmare!! Felt awful, managed to keep going but really struggled. Wondering if I should repeat this run next or attempt the 25? Any ideas?
