Re: Week 5 run 3

Well done! I am just a few runs behind you and if I'm honest, I re-ran week 4 run 3 on Tuesday as I was scared of how quickly week 5 ramps up.

I'm going to run week 5 run 1 tonight!

Re: Does anyone run more than C25k recommends?

Thanks Petra. I'll find another activity to do between runs. I considered metafit but I can barely walk after it let alone run :) I think it will need to be something more gentle!

Does anyone run more than C25k recommends?

C25k recommends that you rest between runs but I would like to know of everyone follows this advice? I have been following the plan and I'm enjoying the runs but I would like to step up my weight loss. Although I'm feeling my muscles tone up, the scales just aren't changing (I already eat a balanced...

Re: Will I see my body change??

Hi Eimi, I've just done week 2 run 3 so not as far ahead as you. I have already noticed changes in my body, my waist seems a little smaller, my legs and bum are feeling firmer. (Very pleased - long may it continue) I think running will provide results but perhaps it depends what your starting point ...

Re: Any advice for 51 yr old new runner?

I'm not an experienced runner Mark but I thought I'd add my view :) I think age is just a number and if youre building up your running strength and stamina with a really good running plan such as this and taking warm up , cool downs and stretches seriously - I don't see a reason for injury. A few ye...

Re: I havent run for 1 week :(

Hi Matt. Ive just come back from my run! I decided to bite the bullet - got for week 2 run 3 and see how I got on. I managed it all without doing myself a mischief  I'm sweaty and my legs are tired but I'm really pleased! I'm re-motivated again and looking forward to sticking to the plan :D

I havent run for 1 week :(

Ive had a really bad week and haven't been able to run. My last run was 31st July - I had just completed week 2, run 2.

Any advice on which run I should do today? Should I try week 2 run 3 or should I go back a few steps?

Thanks
