Re: 20 minute run!

Excellent! I felt the same way going into the 20 minute run. Now I'm up to 25! Keep going! As for shoes... Find the nearest running store and have a gait analysis done. That will determine the right shoe for you. It's worth the time and investment in the shoe that they suggest!

Re: run 1 week 4 HELP!!!

I nearly quit the program in W1R1 because my calves and shins hurt so bad! Each week I doubted even more. I am now on Week 7 running 25 minutes. You CAN do this! Repeat the day if you have to, but DO NOT STOP! Your body will adapt and you will be amazed! :)

Completed a 5k Race Before Finishing the App

Hi Everyone! I just finished week 6 run 3 today! One of these reasons why I wanted to use the app was to be able to run a full 5k race. I had signed up for one on February 18th and even though I know I wasn't going to be done with this app, I figured it could help! Well I did the 5k on February 18th...

Re: Help!!!!!!! Should I run?!

Thanks Matt! I took your advice and skipped today's run. I am going to do my 2 x10 runs during the 5k. This way I get a 5 minute warm up before my run. Having this app running will keep me on the normal pace I run! Will let you know how I did! I'm excited!

Re: Nike air trainers versus asics

I concur... Get your gait analyzed. I had been running in Asics, but after getting my feet analyzed I switched to Saucony. It was the best thing for my foot!

Help!!!!!!! Should I run?!

Hi everyone!
I need advice. I have W6R2 scheduled tomorrow and Sunday I am scheduled for my first 25 minute run. However I have entered a 5k on Saturday!!! Should I do the Friday and Sunday run? Has anyone been in this situation? What should I do?

Tough Run After 20 Minute Run?

So Sunday I did my 20 minute run. Today I thought it would be easy to do my 5,8,5 runs. Boy was it tough! I did it, but I had to drag myself through it. Did anyone else experience this?
